To make mature and active disciples of Jesus Christ, who worship and serve God and show God's love inside and outside the church

This is our mission statement. The purpose of our regular Church Meetings, and those of our Deaconate (Leadership team), is to check that our activities and attitudes are such that we are doing all that we can in order to meet what we believe God is asking us to do in this area.

Summer 2010 sees us focussing on a number of the key things that are the very essence of ‘church’. The themes are: Worship, Teaching, Fellowship, Evangelism and Prayer. You can visit this area of our site to explore the themes in more detail by listening to the sermons/reading the notes.

Spring 2010 saw us look at Jesus and his character, identity and ministry, as seen in John’s Gospel (John 1:1 to John 13:17). The series took us on a journey from Christmas (the arrival of God incarnate) to Easter (the sacrifice of God incarnate).

Since we started recording them, all our past sermons can be found clicking here.

At a church day away in May 2009, we believe God helped us identify 4 key areas (Worship, People, Leadership, Buildings) for the church to focus on. The 4 themes below were the basis of our preaching/other activities during Autumn 2009. You can visit this area of our site to explore the themes in more detail by listening to the sermons/reading the notes.

As we are now “in interregnum” (which means a time without a minister) we are supported by Jem Sewell from Slough Baptist Church. Life will certainly be different but can also be very fulfilling as new gifts become evident and latent talents come into flower as new opportunities appear. Our congregation is already greatly blessed with several able preachers and worship/service leaders who together with invited speakers ensure a rich preaching and teaching ministry. The church is optimistic as we look to the Holy Spirit's encouragement for this next interim chapter in its life.

The formal church profile and minister’s profile is here here, or contact our Church Secretary for more details.

If you have thoughts or suggestions as to anything else we can do, we would love to hear from you, please contact us!
